This is a fantastic tool! I've needed a pole pruner for years, but never could use the old rope-and-pulley models, which were just too heavy for me -- I'm 5' 1" and not all that strong! Plus, I wanted a saw blade in addition to the pruning shear. I also don't like ladders (serious problems with vertigo)! Full disclosure: this only arrived today, so I haven't tried the saw blade attachment yet, and I also haven't tried telescoping it. But when it arrived, I was so excited that I ran outside to try it out despite the fact that the heat index was over 100 degrees here. In just minutes, I cut off about a dozen pesky branches that I never could reach before, and if it hadn't been so darn hot, I would have kept going. Without even adjusting the angle of the cutting head, I was easily able to trim branches up to the rated 1" in diameter. The cutting action was totally smooth ("like butter") and took very little effort. Later this week (when it cools off), I will try cutting a few slightly thicker branches with the saw blade and experiment with telescoping to reach higher branches. But based just on what I was able to do today, this tool is totally worth it! Highly recommended!
